Caitiff
Very few true Caitiff exist in San Augustin. For whatever reason, the Kindred of the Ancient City hold the bonds of clan to be fairly secure. The exception to this seems to be the Autarkis who dwells in Chinatown and who cultivates a broad distance between herself and other Kindred (though even she is Caitiff in name only - and only because of her insistence that she is not Kindred at all, but one of the Wan Kuei - distinct from the descendants of Caine.
Thin-Blooded
San Augustin is a city virtually overrun with Thin-Blood. The presence of so many low-generation Kindred - all of whom seem to have fled to parts unknown - has left a considerable vacuum. Coupled with the near absence of authority in the Anarch Uprising, and the actions of the serial embracer known as Nightblade, a number of relatively weak Kindred have moved into positions of power in the City.
The Lonely Ones
Operating out of the underground nightclub, Savage Garden, beneath the Ponce Mall, Deacon Stone and Colette Silver lead a coterie of Thin-Bloods who seem to be singularly driven in the absence of Elder supervision. More than any other Neonates, the Lonely Ones have made inroads into San Augustin's infrastructure, usurping the control left by elder Kindred to their subordinates.
One would think that a pack of thin-blood nobodies would crumple in the face of true Kindred power; but the daytime destruction of the Ventrue Celio Pena following his public denunciation of the coterie has put most Kindred on edge when dealing with any Thin Bloods in the City. Rumors abound that the Lonely Ones can operate in the daylight, and that they possess strange powers previously unseen by modern Kindred.
Ghouls
The Bois
The Trio who run Bizaarcade in Under Augustine are largely unaware and uncaring about Kindred politics. Hugh and his two enforcers operate a small-time criminal empire that spans much of Downtown and brushes up against a number of other outfits, without actually stepping on any toes. The only trouble the trio seem to have at all, at the moment, is a friendly rivalry with the "Harpies" who run Waxy Maxy's on the other side of the underground mall.
The Velvet Children
A quartet of scene girls who share an apartment attached to Waxy Maxy's in Under Augustin, the Velvet Children might as well be Toreador - despite, or perhaps because of, the lack of potency in their blood. Wednesday, Wendy, Whitney, and Winter (all assumed names) are more concerned with music and art than with nightly Kindred politics, and they do their best to avoid other vampires when they can. They do spend a most of their time away from the Club visiting other venues and the galleries of San Augustin. That being said, the Velvet Children are somewhat influential in those circles.
