Marshall Demitri Martin is not a happy camper. In 2019, he and his buddies from high school were all "Embraced" - that's fancy fucking vampire talk for "got turned into a goddamn, bloodsucking creature of the night." As you can probably guess, this was several states away from "okay" in Marshall's book.
His buddies? Well... they seemed to fuckin' love it. Coming up with a place to stay and plans for a whole new life of devious and interesting crimes to pay the bills - oh. And to make their mark on the Oldest City.
Marshall, "Mars" to his friends, isn't having it. Since this whole enterprise started, he's been saving up for college so he can go to night school and study biology, hematology, whatever else there might be to look into to find a cure (the same reason - the only reason - he's interested in meeting other kindred).
The stress is piling on, really; and so Mars turns to tiktok (@WaterforMars) as a coping mechanism. Between that and YouTube (MarsNeedsWater and ArcadeTube) he's actually been making a decent bit of cash so that at least some of his "find a cure" cash isn't from evil shit.

Mars and the Bois sleep in a converted back room of the Bizaarcade, which also serves as the office for their criminal enterprises. The arcade is run by Hugh's stepfather in the daytime. Mars's Mom also keeps his room for him over on the Westside.

Mars has no real connections of his own, but he has a bit of fame on social media.

Other than being a Thin-Blood, Mars does his best to get along with everybody.

Vance Johnston is Hugh's Stepfather, I must've been half-asleep. Mars's Nephew is name Robbie Martin.
