Cassidy Ferrer

Ambition - Restore the Camarilla in San Augustin.

Discuss DMZ security with the Tremere. - Desire

Baron of South Beach

The Childe of Juno Queneau, Cassidy Ferrer has been lame since childhood and cannot walk without aid – usually in the form of his crutches, though he sometimes uses a wheelchair.

Cassidy is a ludicrously talented metal-smith, craftsman, and artisan, who was embraced by Juno to spite the Toreador who had targeted him. Shortly after his embrace, he spent a great many years traveling abroad, as he was exiled by Juno for some trespass that has never been made public.

Though nothing has been officially declared, Ferrer has an unspoken dominion over the weapons trade in San Augustin and its environs. The Ventrue often jokes (or threatens) that he is the NRA of the Vampire World in San Augustin - as he owns controlling interest in almost every gun, surplus, and hunting pro shop in the city, as well as his own Vulcan Arms, a metal shop based in Butler Beach. The metal shop is frequented by Kindred & Kine alike.

Cassidy often butts heads against Forest Garvan, due to the volatile relationship he had with Forest's predecessor, Aggro, but the Gangrel recognizes the smith's usefulness and so the two have an uneasy peace.

Demesne

Cassidy rarely leaves his haven in the Vulcan Arms building in Butler Beach, often going so far as to demand (or at least expect) others to come to him when they wish to speak to him.

Allies

Cassidy's right-hand-man is Dylan Smythe, who is the face of Vulcan Arms and the go-between for Cassidy and the rest of Kindred Society. He has influence across much of the NRA-focused Florida city.

Enemies

Though he has no specific enemies, Cassidy has an uneasy relationship with the Gangrel in the city.

Secrets

  • Cassidy Ferrer can be purchased as a 3-Dot Contact or Mawla by any kindred who is not a Gangrel.

Stories

  • Punt Gun

    • Cassidy would like the Coterie to harry the 3rd Street Ballas (probably from the water). He cannot be tied to this, but they must be made to stop harassing his establishment.

  • Duck Foot Gun

    • The Coterie is to confront the leader of the Ballas. Depending on the outcome of Punt Gun he wants to negotiate a truce of demand reparation. Cassidy does not want this mortal harmed, only calmed. The encounter turns out to be a little more than the Coterie bargained for.

  • Girardoni Repeating Rifle

    • The leader of the Ballas (or the new leader, depending), wants a word with the Coterie's rep. Depending on the outcome of Duck Foot Gun, they either want to try again or sue for peace.

  • LeMat Revolver

    • Sensing a weakness, the Ballas rivals have made a move on Vulcan Arms. The Coterie is to move into Westside, locate the Orange Street Vipers and retrieve the stolen goods without killing too many (or any) mortals.

  • Cemetery Gun

    • The Gangrel CJ forces a confrontation with the Coterie because they have been starting a gang war on his turf? This begins CJ's Storyline, if the Coterie pursues it.
