Lewis Speedway
Second only to Daytona in terms of popularity in the national conscience, Lewis Speedway - often referred to as the San Augustin or Florida Speedway outside of Daytona - is popular with drivers and fans alike.
Fans of racing come all across the southeastern United States to watch all manner of races from drag to stock, and professional to amateur.
Track officials also hold driving courses and driver training for all manner of needs from defensive driving, to racing, to professional offensive driving. They also hold courses for motorcycle enthusiasts
Supporting Cast: On race night: 80,000 race fans (see Night Game, Core p. 326). Other nights: maintenance and custodial staff echoing in the cavernous halls.
