The Mirror

Started in the 1960s, as a counter to The Record's lax coverage of the Civil Rights Movement, The Mirror is a small-press, weekly guerilla newspaper that focuses on the Black experience in San Augustin and Florida - a slightly less polished but much more politically active competitor to the Folio Weekly. The Youth cultures in San Augustin are often split by those who read the Folio and those who read the Mirror.
Saul and his nephew are often the only two present in the building, which also houses the pair's home, upstairs; but guest reporters and contributers come and go at all hours.

Supporting Cast: Saul, the white-haired, old editor, his nephew who hangs around for heavy lifting and the experience, local gossips and hipsters, an old fella in suspenders and an army jacket sitting in the corner, the paper cat - Reggie.

Resonance(s): Phlegmatic

Other Systems: Old postcards, letters, and back issues may hold forgotten secrets. Characters can look for something significant amidst the back-issues (Resolve + Awareness; Difficulty 4) and apply their margin to the next Mental test, assuming they pay Saul $10-50 for the privilege.
