Reuben Chill is the owner of Chill Trim and Accents - a trim carpentry company well known and respected among the elite in San Augustin. In his advancing years, Reuben is no longer the threat he was in his youth, but he was an efficient union buster and a crack shot. These days, he relies on the good will of his contemporaries to get things done, when they need to be.

He is currently focused on finding out what actually happened to his son, and - should the boy's stories be true - bringing that bastard to justice.
