Thirteen year old Gary Black is the mortal son of Lincoln Black. Tall for his age, with a wild mane of red hair, Gary looks like a slightly thinner, shaved miniature of his father. Gary has seen his father, and resents him for being abandoned. He's a smart kid who excels in school, but is also a trouble-maker who sometimes runs with the Orange Street Vipers.

Gary speaks English and Greek.
