Envy Maddow is the House DJ at Asylum, and she plays a number of other clubs on special occasions. Mostly, that's what she's got going on.
Born and raised in San Augustin, Envy started DJing shortly before she graduated High School, landing the job at Asylum when the Voerman Sisters were still in town. Envy is the Childe of Jeanette, and suffers from a peculiar delusion, in that she is constantly hearing what she describes as "the beautiful song of madness" or "the cacophony", depending on her mood. This near-constant hallucination leaves her singularly focused on the music.
When she isn't spinning, she's playing or singing, and when she isn't doing that, she's writing her own music, or she's intolerably depressed and sullen - withdrawn.

Secrets

• Envy's unique connection to her madness means she rarely speaks about things that make other Malkavians seem clairavoyant or psychic; but she follows the music where it leads, and sometimes the music leads her to important places or people.
